Coalgate internet services was started in december 2004 by randy robson i have been a network tech for alltel for 26 years.I retired from alltel 03-03-2006 I  live in a rural area north of coalgate and had been using direway for internet service untill december 2004 it was very expencive $700 equipment $69.95 a month. There service was fair at first then they oversold there network and things started getting slower and slower. There tech support is in india and they speak very poor english. I thought there has to be a better way to get broadband in rural areas that is when i started and hoped i could get 20 customers within a year. Well here i am 3 years later with 32 access points serving 475+ customers in 6 counties and growing every day. Now that i can devote my entire time to running my wisp and computer shop things are just going to get even better.
